C3: A Community College Transfer Success Tool

What is C3?

C3 (or Community College Collaboration) is a program that aims to make higher education more accessible, elevating your transfer experience through academic, social, and financial support.  The C3 program at NC State provides tools and resources to ensure success on your college transfer journey to becoming a part of the Wolfpack!  The transfer pathway begins at one of our partnering community colleges, which can be found below. 

How can C3 help me?


The C3 program offers many opportunities and resources to help connect you to the right degree program at NC State. Some of those resources include:
  • Academic Advising
  • Online Planning Tools
  • Networking Opportunities
  • Programs and Events
  • Guaranteed Admission (if accepted to C3 program)
  • Transfer Student Tips
  • Social Media Handles
  • Spend a Day at State (virtually or in-person) 
  • Military-connected benefits

Who qualifies?


  • Low to moderate income families (<$110,000/year)
  • NC Resident
  • Minimum of one full year of college remaining 
  • Less than 30 credit hours of completed classes
  • Attendee of a partner community college
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
