Science, Education, and Extension (SEE) InsideGreekAgriculture, an NC State Study Abroad Program, is recruiting undergraduate and graduate students for summer 2027! SEE Inside Greek Agriculture will feature farms, food production and processing, agriculture, agricultural education, extension, and history. Students will learn while being immersed in Greek culture including food markets, antiquities, and museums! Applications will open October 1, and students are invited to join our interest list.
Beekeeping is among the many agricultural enterprises featured. SEE Inside Greek Agriculture scholars go inside the hives and engage in a honey tasting lesson to extend their knowledge.
The dates are June 20-July 4, 2027, and the locations are Thessaloniki, Chania (on the island of Crete), and Athens, Greece. We will fly into Thessaloniki and stay at American Farm School and AFS University (a single campus in Thessaloniki). Housing will be in the college residence hall in Thessaloniki and local hotels in Chania and Athens. Domestic flights to Chania and to Athens are included.
